Yeah, I guess I really don't have too many friends IRL either... probably through a combination of shyness, and never having really grasped some social conventions (I always seem to say the wrong thing at some point, especially around girls x_x;). The friends I had in high school are kind of all dotted around the country most of the time, because they decided to go to university away from Newcastle, and the good friends I wound up making in university were all foreign, so I never see them over the summer xD
lol, I'm glad you enjoyed the post ^_^ I tell you one thing, I seriously cannot WAIT to read Alexander's post. THAT is going to be exciting xD And Ata is a great writer, so I think it'll probably be quite epic xD I really can't wait to read Tolia's post, either; Lyov is a talented writer too, and it'll be intriguing to see how the character reacts to the situation. And yeah, it probably is mildly disturbing that you got all giddy about it. Maybe you're turning evil, too? XD hehehehe.

Haha, we missed you more than our real life friends too (Ata and I), probably just because we don't have that many real life friends anyway. :P I'm too shy and Ata hates too many people (she's sitting next to me but if I respond quickly enough, she might not see this in time to smack me, yeep!).
Seriously, though, your Forest reply was amazing. I felt all giddy just reading it, which is probably disturbing to most, given the content of that post. DS writers really are amazing, though, I tell you.
So now you're off to London in a couple days, right? To look at colleges for your brother? We'll miss you (again!) but I hope you have fun. :)

Hey there! I saw that, yep! I'm in class right now so I can't do more than skim and post little comments, but I'll review the moment I get a chance. I'm looking forward to reading them. Like I said, our application can be a little insane (for future reference, you only need to submit the RP writing sample once, at least ;), but we dealt with so many crappy writers on other boards that we just decided it was necessary to see who really was interested in joining DS and who could really write decently. So far it seems to be working smashingly. :)
Man, I need to get back into the swing of things on DS, too...I was dealing with a roommate dispute of the damages and fees I assessed and deducted out of a security deposit all weekend. Between that and last week being the first week of school, I feel swamped. Why can't I just get paid to run DS, darnit? :P
